Robert Fairchild is an American who travels throughout Asia photographing landscapes and people of all walks of life. His first publicly released galleries consist of photos of The Philippines captured in Cebu and The Visayas Region. Robert practiced the art of photography as a young man, however circumstances did not allow him to continue. After a 30 year absence, he picked up a digital camera and his interest was reborn. He purchased digital equipment in order to facilitate electronic storage and delivery of his work. Photos are shot with a Canon 400D Camera with a resolution of 10.1 megapixels, and a fine RAW setting. All photos on this site are displayed at 72 dpi to facilitate a quick loading page, however if you order a photo it is send via email at 72 dpi with a width of roughly 2000 pixels.
